The ESB 3.12D4 is a 12" (300 mm) dual 4-ohm voice coil subwoofer with a 4-layer voice coil on a Kapton® former, a high-grade Y30 ferrite magnet and a treated cellulose pulp cone on a long-travel surround. The 3000 Series ("Research at the Highest Level") is built on ESB's materials research: baskets engineered for torsional rigidity, pressed-paper cones with a waterproof treatment, Y-35 ferrite woofer motors and silk-impregnated fabric tweeter domes for a smooth sound.
