The Zapco Z-ST200A AT is a voltage stabilizer and regulator for car audio systems. It sits between your battery and your amplifiers and holds their supply at a steady, adjustable voltage from 12 V to 18 V, delivering up to 200 A of current. It does not make sound or add wattage itself; Zapco's 3000 W RMS rating is how much power it can feed to the amplifiers in your system. Zapco says a system running at a regulated 14.4 V gains about 50% more power, which shows up as better dynamics. Set the output carefully: running at the top of the range can damage amplifiers not rated for it.
